Activities
'Activity Pembrokeshire' offers a wide range of activities run by our highly experienced and qualified instructors. These include Coasteering, Canoeing, Kayaking, Stand Up Paddle Boarding, Guided walks, Bushcraft, Climbing, Team Building, Orienteering and more.
We have activities suitable for all ages and have recently partnered up with the National Trust to run activities from our satellite base at Stackpole Quay as well as having close partnerships with the local YHA, 'tourist' attractions and accommodation providers.
Here are some of the more popular activities we can offer......
COASTEERING
Pembrokeshire is the home of Coasteering where you explore the coastline while climbing, swimming, cave scrambling and jumping. Our leaders are very experienced at our chosen venues to the South of the County. They know the best jumps and most interesting caves to explore along the stunning coastline around Stackpole, Barafundle, Lydstep and Broadhaven. Age limits apply.
SEA KAYAKING
This has to be the best way to see the stunning coastline, a leisurely paddle on one of our solo or tandem 'sit on top' kayaks. Our favoured venue is from our base at Stackpole Quay with its stunning scenery, flora, fauna and geology. We also run from our headquarters at Llanion cove on the banks of the Cleddau estuary.

CANADIAN CANOEING
A relaxing way to enjoy the beautiful Cleddau estuary and other waters around Pembrokeshire. Watch the fish swim under your boat as you gently paddle around the secluded coves. We can also raft your boats together if you feel a little less confident or you have younger children. If the breeze picks up we can even improvise some sails to get us home a bit quicker. Canoeing can be adapted to all ages and abilities.

Come and try the fastest growing adventure sport around. It could be described as paddling around while standing on a surf board. From our perspective if it's a fantastic workout and a stunning way to see the nooks and crannies around our coastline ans estuaries. SUPing needs no previous experience and you'll soon be progressing from belly, to knees to standing up. SUPing is only available from Easter.

BUSHCRAFT AND WOODLAND RANGER
Our woodland ranger days have become very popular. We have numerous woodland areas we can visit around the County and beyond where we can learn to build and light a fire but leave no trace. We can teach you how to whittle and make woodland crafts, make herbal teas and cook from nature's larder. All this is done under the expert supervision of our Bushcraft and Forests schools instructors. Little 'rangers' will love the stories of woodland dragons and the Boblems (little people) that live in our local woodlands and can help them build their dens. This activity is suitable for all ages and perfect for families.

SWALLOWS AND AMAZONS
This has become our most popular day adventure combining paddling a craft of your choice up the estuary, usually with the tide. We stop off at a secluded cove where we hone our bushcraft skills, make dens, light a fire or set up the Kelly kettle for a cup of tea. We'll also have our lunch and maybe toast some marshmallows before heading back home....... with the help of some wind in our improvised sails if we're lucky. The is perfect for all ages especially family groups.

If being away from it all is more your thing then we can combine some wild camping and survival with some or standard adventure activities. We could canoe up the river to a suitable site, set up camp and settle down around the fire for the evening. Alternatively we could hike the coast path to a secret woodland location and a fantastic round house, a favourite with the Dragons academy players seen in the photo. Bring your guitar or harmonica as our instructors are good at what they do.....but are not musicians!!

Each Team building day is designed especially for your group and following discussions with your group leader......although you may not know much about it before you arrive!
